Richardson Fire Hazard Report	2004-10-21
In 1991 a fire hazard assessment was done on the 108 Greenbelt Lands. Since that time the Ministry of Forests and the Greenbelt Commission have conducted a fuel reduction program in areas identified in the report. The approach used by the commission has been to conduct the fuel modification efforts in the areas identified as an extreme and then move on to those areas with a less hazardous rating. Before conducting this work the Commission has revisited the areas to ensure that the concerns identified in the report are still valid.
