In 1997, Bylaw #3282 established the South Cariboo Transit Service for the purpose of sharing 50% of the Municipal cost of the service with the District of 100 Mile House. A portion of Electoral Area 'G' particpates in this service and is taxed by way of a parcel tax. The taxation limit is $25,000 or $0.14 per $1,000 of assessment. The Cariboo Regional District portion of the cost of providing this service has increased from $16,147 in 2003 to an estimated $24,277 in 2004.
